Missions can be designed to optimize the way that work flows through them by balancing the sizes of the organizational segments with the work activities assigned to them.  The functional arrangement and proper alignment of corporate resources has a direct and significant impact on the overall efficiency and profitability of the organization.   

Products described in this section cover the full range of mission planning and design.  Since OAC's design capabilities are fully integrated, each part of the planning process is integral to the whole.  OAC's planning services include scenario development and the plan documentation.  Unlike some, OAC's plans incorporate discussions of strategy, theoretical bases, and logic.  These discussions provide an additional level of assurance not commonly available in any other planning process.

Aligning the organization to meet market conditions involves creating a plan.  The value of a plan is determined by the quality of insight gleaned from internal and external assessments and the level of dedication devoted to the plan's development.

The mission design process supports the successful execution of a mission.  Creating the design basis for the mission involves many steps.
