A personal note from the artist... I have complex and persistent questions about the world we live in, a world we
continue to shape and bring into being.
I explore these and other impressions through my art, working in
mixed media, multifaceted paintings, and drawings.
The
earth and the diversity or its environments are an important aspect of my
art as well, reflecting my concern for humanity's relationship with our
mother planet. A deep interest
in spirituality and creation inspires visual images of interiors, landscapes
(urban and rural), and the life forms that inhabit them.
The swamps of Louisiana, beaches and industries of Texas, and the
pristine heights of Colorado offer amazing universes to explore and
discover, whether the locations are old or new, real or imagined. The
wide variety of information, terrain, and creatures in these places inspire
overlapping layers of both paint and thought.
Through me, this creates a macro-arena for the overflow of secrets
which embody terror and beauty, sometimes in the same place. Agent
